KIPP Corazon Academy Athletic department believes athletics is an essential part of education. We believe that participation in sports instills a sense of pride, teamwork and accomplishment; while developing the student athlete to live their life with strong moral sense. Our goal at KIPP Corazon Academy is to create an inclusive environment that encourages growth regardless of experience or skill level. The Athletic Program will offer new opportunities and challenges for each sport being offered. We want to push our student athletes to give 100% effort throughout practice and games. Our coaches not only model how to win gracefully, they also model how losing is a learning opportunity. We ensure that all Corazon Athletic members take away life-long skills such as dedication, commitment, and problem solving that allows us all to build confidence in each other. We are committed to building an excellent sports program rooted in the pride of our school and focused on fairness in competition.
